ANAMED Library Talks continue on March 12 with Şeyda Çetin, Ebru Esra Satıcı and Zeynep Çelik. The talk is entitled “Göz Alabildiğine İstanbul: Beş Asırdan Manzaralar”.
Meşher’s exhibition Istanbul as Far as the Eye Can See: Views Across Five Centuries includes more than 100 works, from paintings to engravings, rare books to albums, panoramic photographs to Istanbul Heirloom objects showing wide-angle views of Istanbul, which are a rich visual record of the city. The exhibition, curated by Şeyda Çetin and Ebru Esra Satıcı and project consultancy by Bahattin Öztuncay, consisting of various rare works from the Ömer Koç Collection, covers a period extending from the 15th century, when Istanbul was the Ottoman capital, to the first quarter of the 20th century. . In this meeting, moderated by Zeynep Çelik, the exhibition content, exhibition styles, research process, exhibition catalog and the exhibition event titled “Associations” will be discussed.
