Mr.Razumoff is an archeologist of Eastern Roman (Byzantine) empire, specializing in urbanism, communaldecision-makingandhuman-environmentrelations, currentlyworking on his dissertationproject, “PoliticalEcology of theEarlyMedievalEastern Roman City (6th to 9th centuries CE)”. During his time at ANAMED, he willresearchthemanagement of waterinfrastructures in thecity of Amorium, changes in port facilities in Ephesusand Miletus, as well as earthquake-promptedreligiousprocessions in Constantinople.
