Research Title: Political Ecology of the Early Medieval Eastern Roman City (6th to 9th centuries CE) 

Mr.Razumoff is an archeologist of Eastern Roman (Byzantine) empire, specializing in urbanism, communal decision-making and human-environment relations, currently working on his dissertation project, “Political Ecology of the Early Medieval Eastern Roman City (6th to 9th centuries CE)”. During his time at ANAMED, he will research the management of water infrastructures in the city of Amorium, changes in port facilities in Ephesus and Miletus, as well as earthquake-prompted religious processions in Constantinople.
