In addition to ANAMED’s summer and online programs, other thematic programs are organized occasionally. For example, the Summer Programme in Byzantine Epigraphy was held in 2018.

Held for the first time in 2019, the Environmental Archaeology Training Program focuses on two important subfields: archaeobotany and zooarchaeology, offering participants the opportunity for hands-on practice. Originally planned to take place in collaboration with the Kaymakçı Archaeological Project in Gölmarmara, Manisa in 2020, the program was revised as an online program in response to the global pandemic.
