Held for the first time in 2019, the Environmental Archaeology program focuses on two important subfields: archaeobotany and zooarchaeology. Originally planned to take place in collaboration with the Kaymakçı Archaeological Project in Gölmarmara, Manisa this year, the program has been revised as The Environmental Archaeology Online Program in response to the global pandemic. Additionally, ANAMED is now offering the online program Safeguarding and Rescuing Archaeological Assets created by the  SARAT project (Safeguarding Archaeological Assets of Turkey), recipient of a prestigious Europa Nostra Award 2020 in the Education, Training and Awareness-Raising category, under the management of the British Institute at Ankara (BIAA), in collaboration with Koç University’s Research Center for Anatolian Civilizations (ANAMED) and the United Kingdom branch of the International Council of Museums (ICOM UK). The program is offered through Koç University Online Programs as a Koç University Online Certificate Program.
