Research Title: Humidity & Society: 8,500 Years of Climate History in Western Anatolia

Dr. Kamjan is a PhD fellow at Groningen Institute of Archaeology with a focus on human-animal relationships in the past.  She uses traditional zooarchaeological methods and stable isotope analysis on archaeological faunal remains in Türkiye, Iran, Bulgaria, and the Netherlands to investigate past husbandry practices. Starting from January 2022, as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Environmental Archaeology she will be participating the research project titled “Humidity & Society: 8,500 Years of Climate History in Western Anatolia.”
