Ms. Dolğun completed her Bachelors and Masters degrees at Hatay Mustafa Kemal University, and is currently pursuing her PhD in the Department of Archaeology at Dokuz Eylül University. She participated in the Tell Tayinat excavations in 2009, 2010, and 2016, and has been a permanent member since 2021, working on the Early Bronze Age layers. Her doctoral dissertation, titled “Functional Evaluation of Tell Tayinat Early Bronze Age IVB Spaces and Ceramics,” aims to investigate the social and cultural structure of the period by analyzing the architectural remains of the Tell Tayinat IVB layers, dated to the third millennium BCE, through its ceramic groups. The functional purpose of the ceramic finds from the Early Bronze Age IVb spaces and their distribution within these spaces are considered, and the use of the structures in this period and the changes within the abovementioned chronological timeframe are evaluated.
